Pelmanism Library
Often known as Memory, Pelmanism is a simple matching game where players turn over two cards at a time, aiming to find pairs. In the classroom, it works especially well as a warmer or focus activity.
Display the game on a smartboard or projector and split the class into groups. Teach or revise the language they’ll need first:
“Column three, row four.”
Students take turns directing you to the cards they want to flip.
You just click — and watch the whole class concentrate.
